Memorial Hospital of Tampa provides a Endoscopy Center for the diagnosis and treatment of complications of the digestive tract.

Endoscopy is a type of medical procedure that uses a thin, flexible, lighted tube to examine digestive organs. Endoscopic procedures are most often performed to identify conditions within the body that are causing digestive discomfort, but may also be used for screening and preventative care.

At Memorial Hospital’s Digestive Health Center, our caring staff is committed to making your visit as convenient and pleasant as possible. To help ensure each patient’s comfort, sedation is administered prior to an endoscopic procedure.

We offer innovative endoscopic procedures that combine advanced technology with high-quality patient care and comfort. Our wide variety of endoscopic procedures include:

  • Colonoscopy
  • Upper Endoscopy
  • Sigmoidoscopy
  • ERCP
  • PEG tube Feeding Placement
  • Bronchoscopy
  • Bravo Capsule
  • Small Bowel

Your physician will discuss with you the options and recommended procedures needed to accurately diagnose a digestive health concern. When an endoscopic procedure is required, Memorial Hospital’s Digestive Health Center offers the safety and comfort of a hospital-based endoscopic unit.
